Through a Glass Lightly

The Japanese eye has a very different perspective.

I wont bore you with the travelogue, the people, the food, the gardens, the markets, the bookshops, the hospitality and the rest.

Just wondering why it had taken us so long to get there?

The coffee set is from Jutta Sika from 1901, the plate is from Bernard Leach and the vase is from Jean Dunand it is made of bronze. From an exhibition of how the West took to Japanese design at the turn of the 20th century.

Kappabashi street gives a cutting edge and new meaning to a vertical tea tasting.

Tokyo nightspots ooze charm.

Local transmition will resume as soon as possible.
Thank you Japan our eyes have been re-calibrated.

Why are there only 8760 hours per year and one-third spent sleeping? Missed my chance while PM was in Japan and just never seem to organise my time properly.

Looks like you had a fantastic time.
