In 1976 Sunnybrae was a sleeping treasure with great bones. A distinctive but modest cottage built in 1868 by local builder brickie Pell whose signature Flemish bond brickwork is a part of the identity of Birregurra. It is now a working restaurant , cooking school and restored  residence awaiting the next generation.
